One of the nation’s most prestigious collegiate summer leagues cancelled its 2020 season Friday. The Cape Cod League became the third league to announce plans to cancel its season due to the pandemic. The league-which has played each summer since 1885- had not missed a season since 1945, the last year of World War II.
