The Christian County Health Department is reporting no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the community as of Thursday.
That’s according to their daily update, which states that there are still 85 confirmed cases, the same number as Wednesday, with 43 of those being individuals who have recovered from the coronavirus. Thirty-nine cases are considered ‘active’.
The active cases include one in the pediatric age group, 25 cases in the 22 to 59-years age group, 13 in the older adult group and zero in the elderly age range. Christian County has seen three deaths related to COVID-19.
The health department urges people to continue social distancing to maintain frequent and thorough handwashing practices. CCHD is offering free COVID-19 testing Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Tie Breaker Park to individuals who wish to be tested.
