One ejected, flown in Hopkins Co. crash

The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a single vehicle accident that sent a man to an area hospital for life-threatening injuries.

According to a news release, deputies responded to the intersection of Rose Creek Road and Coiltown Road for reports of a crash.  Investigation determined that the vehicle operated by 34-year old Craig Bloomer went off the road, possibly caused by overcorrection.  The vehicle overturned, ejecting Bloomer.

Bloomer was flown to a trauma center for treatment of injuries that were thought to be life-threatening.
