Former PGA Tour Commissioner Finchem named to World Golf Hall of Fame

Former PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem has been elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame through the contributor category. Finchem was commissioner from 1994-2016 and took advantage of Tiger Woods’ popularity to negotiate television contracts that spiked prize money from under $100 million to more than $400 million during his tenure.
