Kentucky got a commitment from Rhode Island transfer Jacob Toppin Thursday. Toppin is the younger brother of Obi Toppin of the University of Dayton who swept all the major awards in college basketball this past season. Jacob Toppin is a 6-8 forward who averaged 5.1 points and 3.9 rebounds this past season. He will have to sit out this season barring a change in NCAA regulations and have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
