According to Golf Digest, the PGA Tour is looking at moving the Memorial Tournament from early June to the middle of July. The report comes on the heels of statements last week from Memorial founder Jack Nicklaus, who said it was looking like the coronavirus pandemic would mean the tournament would shift to a later date.
Originally scheduled for June 4th through the 7th, the new date would put the Memorial from July 16th to the 19th, which would have been when the now canceled British Open was to start. No official announcement has been made and Memorial Director Dan Sullivan said he expects something from them this week.
