HPD investigating thefts of car, copper fittings

Hopkinsville police are investigating the theft of a vehicle on East 22nd Street and theft of copper from a location on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

A white 1999 Ford Taurus was stolen in the 200 block of East 22nd sometime between Monday night and Tuesday afternoon.

The keys had been left in the car, according to the report.

Meanwhile, multiple copper plumbing fittings with a combined value of $2,500 were stolen at a job site location in the 11000 block of Fort Campbell Boulevard. The items belong to Coleman B&R, LLC.

No suspects are named on either Hopkinsville Police Department report.
