Governor Beshear & Dr. Fauci talk about sports returning

During his Tuesday Coronavirus briefing, Governor Beshear said Tuesday sporting events could take place in empty stadiums this fall, but under certain conditions:

The Kentucky Derby is scheduled for Labor Day weekend as are the opening football games for the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville.

Meanwhile, the top expert on Covid-19, Dr. Anthony Fauci, said in a Snapchat interview yesterday he believes pro sports can come back this year:

Fauci says he’s like many others and wants to see sports resume, even if the atmosphere is lacking.
