A Cadiz man has been charged with burglary and theft in connection with alleged incidents earlier this month in Trigg County.
The Trigg County Sheriff’s Department investigated and a warrant says 48-year old Lannie Alexander of Cadiz went into a building without permission on April 2 and that he stole a gun and chainsaw.
He’s also accused of taking a vehicle on April 2 and not returning it to its owner.
Alexander is charged with first-degree burglary, theft of a firearm, misdemeanor theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Hopkinsville police located Alexander at a Holley Court location Wednesday morning and served him with a warrant that was changed to a criminal summons to court due to a medical issue.
