PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh says he has three plans of action for the PGA Championship to be held at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. Waugh tells PGA Tour Radio the event will either be held as normal with fans, as normal without fans or stage it at another site. The event-originally scheduled for next month-will now be held August 6-9 as of now due to the pandemic.
The Senior British Open golf tournament has been postponed because of the coronavirus outbreak. The event was scheduled to take place at Sunningdale from July 23-26. Royal & Ancient official Johnnie Cole-Hamilton says organizers are looking at alternative options to host the tournament ”later in the year” if at all possible.
