She says 40 people were screened Monday at the Express Lab on Eagle Way Bypass, 29 were tested for COVID-19 and results from all but a couple of those tests had come back by Tuesday afternoon. They have tested a total of 846 people through the new lab and continue to get results back quickly.
McCraw also thanked local first responders who went to the hospital Tuesday morning to show appreciation to medical personnel at Jennie Stuart, saying it meant a lot to those vital workers.
