International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach tells a German newspaper the IOC will face “several hundred million dollars” of added costs because of the postponement of the Tokyo Games due to the coronavirus pandemic. Estimates in Japan put the overall cost of the postponement from $2 billion to $6 billion.
