Todd County has an eighth confirmed case of COVID-19.
A healthy adult with mild to moderate symptoms is isolated at home, according to the Todd County Health Department, which says the patient began exhibiting symptoms on April 4.
The individual was tested earlier this week and the result came back positive Friday.
Officials say the case is connected to a previous case in Todd County and all direct contacts have been notified and advised to self-quarantine for 14 days.
