College Football could start later due to Covid-19

Texas A&M chancellor John Sharp said Wednesday a 13-game college football season would be possible if teams do not kickoff until October. Seven games are scheduled for August 29th with most colleges starting the next week. Sharp said in conversations with SEC and NCAA officials they’ve come to the conclusion if the COVID-19 pandemic moves the start of the football season back into October, a 13-game season would be feasible.
