The Christian County Health Department is reporting three new cases of COVID-19 locally, bringing Christian County’s total of cases up to 56.
According to a news release, 40 of those confirmed cases are considered ‘active’ and 13 people have recovered. Three of those cases are in the pediatric age group, 33 are in the 22 to 59 years of age group, 17 cases are individuals in the 60 to 65 years old age range and three are in the elderly age group.
The health department has reported three COVID-19 related deaths in Christian County so far.
People are urged to continue regular and thorough hand washing and to stay safe at home—when you must go out, the health department says to maintain a distance of 6 feet or more between yourself and others.
