We’re upon the most holy weekend on the Christian calendar and the Hopkinsville YMCA will host a virtual community prayer service for Good Friday.
The local YMCA normally hosts a Good Friday prayer breakfast, but that isn’t possible with current social distancing guidance in the ongoing pandemic. Kristen Lilly says the service will be at noon on the Hopkinsville Christian County Family YMCA Facebook page.
She says several businesses and agencies have come together to help them make an outdoor chapel for the service.
Churches across the country will host their Easter services virtually in one form or another Sunday.
