The Tennessean reported Tuesday Kentucky, Tennessee and Illinois are among 37 states who are holding out hope to have a spring sports season.
One of the sports affected is baseball. WHOP Sports spoke with both Christian County coach Trey Wheeler and Hopkinsville coach and athletic director Blake Leach Tuesday. Both say several ideas are being considered, including playing the season in June and July. Another idea is if schools were allowed to return May 1st, having a shortened three week season. However, no decisions have been made as the Kentucky High School Athletic Association has all sports suspended indefinitely.
