Former UK coach Sutton to enter Basketball Hall of Fame

Reports indicate former University of Kentucky coach Eddie Sutton will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Sutton, who won 806 games in his 37-year coaching career, coached at Kentucky from 1985-89 and went 90-40 in his time. He resigned in 1989 while Kentucky was under investigation by the NCAA.

Sutton coached in three Final Fours, two at Oklahoma State, and is the only coach with at least 800 victories not to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. He also coached at Creighton, Arkansas and San Francisco during his career.
