University of Kentucky softball coach Rachel Lawson says the NCAA has a “rocky road ahead” in allowing senior spring sports athletes to have an extra year of eligibility. Lawson tells the Lexington Herald Leader while allowing the extra year is a great thing, how it will be administered remains to be seen. She points to financial uncertainty as one of the factors to be considered.
