The Christian County Health Department is reporting that Christian County has 19 active confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of Wednesday afternoon.
A news release clarifies that there are 20 total confirmed cases of coronavirus in the community, but one of those has since recovered and has finished her period of self-isolation. This is up from 13 cases on Tuesday and includes three individuals in the pediatric age group, nine in the 22 to 59 age group, six in the 60 to 85 age group and one case in the elderly age group.
The Christian County Health Department continues to urge the public to practice good and frequent hand washing practices and for everyone to maintain strict social distancing guidelines.
