Todd County has its second confirmed case of COVID-19.
Todd County Health Department Director Jen Harris says a healthy adult who was tested last week received a positive result Monday. The adult started showing symptoms last Thursday and is currently isolated at a home and has very mild symptoms. The patient was in contact with less than five people and they have been notified and advised to self-quarantine for 14 days.
Harris says you can expect to see additional positive tests in the future and that’s why it’s important to be safe at home and to follow social-distancing and hygiene directives.
