Officials at Augusta National Golf Club announced today the cancellation of the 2020 Drive, Chip and Putt competition along with qualifying for the 2021 event. However, those who were to participate in the 2020 event will compete in next year’s event on April 4th 2021. Officials cited the move as “the most responsible measure” given health risks posed by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The club made no additional announcements about The Masters which was postponed earlier this month.
