The Nashville Predators signed forward Tommy Novak to a two-year, entry-level contract Wednesday. Novak sits third on the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals in points with 42 in 60 games this season. That’s also seventh among all AHL rookies.
The NHL is postponing its scouting combine, awards ceremony and draft that were to take place in June, without a timeframe on when they would be rescheduled. The league plans to return from its pause from the coronavirus pandemic, but that could be a long time
from now.
