An investigation on South O’Neal Avenue Wednesday night led to the arrest of a man on burglary and assault charges.
A woman told police that her ex-boyfriend, 43-year old Derrick Marler of Hopkinsville, had forced entry into her home and shook her. He also allegedly threatened to kill her, according to the report, which says the locks on the door were found to be damaged.
Marler is charged with second-degree burglary, fourth degree assault and terroristic threatening.
