The lab that tested and returned the three ‘presumptive positive’ cases of COVID-19 in Christian County has now been approved by the FDA, changing those to confirmed cases.
That still means there are five cases in Christian County, according to the Christian County Health Department. The lab can now send confirmed cases instead of just presumptive positives. The five confirmed cases are a 61-year old female, a 75-year old female, a 24-year old male, a 21-year old female and a 31-year old female. The Fort Campbell case doesn’t count toward Christian County’s total because that person does not reside in Christian County, according to Emergency Management Director Randy Graham.
The health department encourages residents to continue to practice social distancing, frequent hand washing with warm water and soap, and should you develop any symptoms including dry cough, shortness of breath, or fever, contact your local primary care provider.
