KYAG Cameron taking price gouging complaints during pandemic

Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron is cracking down on any business or individual guilty of price gouging during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cameron says his office has received approximately 1,300 price gouging complaints, including about 100 from western Kentucky.

If you see what you believe to be price gouging on essential supplies, Cameron says call the hotline at 1-888-432-9257 or contact his office online.

Subpoenas were issued to six third-party sellers in Kentucky who used Amazon’s online platform to engage in alleged price-gouging of face masks, hand sanitizer and medical supplies Thursday.

Cameron believes Kentuckians are coming together during this crisis and believes state and local elected officials are also working together.
