The Amber Alert that had been in effect for two Logan County girls has been canceled after they were located safe and their mother was arrested.
As previously reported, 33-year old Neely Blanchard of Bowling Green allegedly kidnapped her twin girls from the Logan County home of her mother, Susan Blanchard. A court order described Neely as “extremely unstable” and she has described herself as a sovereign citizen.
Kentucky State Police said Neely Blanchard was arrested Thursday morning and the twins were safe.
