Former Christian County standout Aaliyah Hampton, now playing for Berea College, capped her freshman season being named the National Rookie of the Year by the website D3Hoops.com last night. Hampton caps off her impressive freshman season averaging 19.8 points per game, 2.2 assists per game, and 1.9 rebounds per game with five awards.
