Former Texas A&M standout Williams dies from Covid-19

A former Texas A&M basketball player from the early 1990’s has died from the Coronavirus. The Dallas Morning News reports David Williams died of COVID-19 complications Monday. Williams holds the Aggies single season record for assists with 265 and he was a three time All Southwest Conference player. He also is one of two players in college basketball history to record a triple-double in consecutive games.
