The City of Hopkinsville has extended the deadline for businesses with a calendar year end to submit a 2019 net profit license fee return.
The new deadline is July 15, the same as the new income tax filing deadline for the state and federal government. Every person or business engaged in for-profit business activity in Hopkinsville during the 2019 calendar year is required to file and pay the net profit license fee.
The city’s net profit license is based on federal tax returns and a copy of the federal return must be submitted with a net profit license filing.
