Three men were arrested by the Hopkinsville Police Department early Wednesday morning and charged in connection with the robbery of a woman on Moores Drive.
According to the Hopkinsville police reports, a female victim called the police and told officers she had been held against her will in a residence for approximately two hours and robbed by three men. Thirty-year old Darius Johnson of Oak Grove, 23-year old Justice Wofford and 25-year old Spencer Clark were allegedly in the residence with guns and threatening to hurt the victim. One of the men allegedly put a knife to her stomach and forced her into a back bed room, where he reportedly made her electronically transfer money to him.
The victim was reportedly struck multiple times in the face. A search of the residence allegedly revealed 178 grams of an unknown white substance, a small baggie of cocaine, marijuana and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.
There were five children under the age of seven in the residence at the time the incident occurred.
Johnson and Wofford are charged with first-degree robbery, kidnapping, first-degree wanton endangerment, trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Johnson is additionally charged with disorderly conduct.
Clark is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
