The Courier Journal reported Sunday the University of Louisville and Western Kentucky University will meet in the regular season opener in the 2020-21 season for both teams. The site will be the KFC Yum Center with the date has not been determined. The teams met at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville last season with the Cardinals downing the Hilltoppers 71-54. Louisville has won the last eight games in the series and has a 41-39 advantage. Louisville was 24-7 this past season while WKU was 20-10.
