The Tennessean reports former Vanderbilt football coach Woody Wiedenhofer has died at age 77. Family members say Wiedenhofer suffered a mild stroke earlier this month in Colorado Springs where he resides and while taking rehab, suffered a more severe stroke Saturday night and died Sunday. Wiedenhofer was Commodores head coach from 1997-2001 after serving as defensive coordinator in the 1995 and 96 seasons.
