Kentucky was ranked 8th in the final Associated Press Top 25 poll released yesterday with Louisville ranked 14th. Kansas was the number one team in the final poll followed by Gonzaga, Dayton, Florida State and Baylor in the top five. The only other SEC school in the poll was Auburn, who was ranked 20th.
Meanwhile, in the USA Today Coaches Poll, Kentucky was ranked seventh and Louisville was ranked 13th with Kansas number one followed by Gonzaga, Dayton, Baylor and Florida State in the top five.
