Despite rumors to the contrary, the KHSAA has not cancelled the Boys or the remainder of the Girls Sweet 16.
On Wednesday, the KHSAA issued a statement concerning refunds of ticket purchases. The statement said events had to be “cancelled” through Ticketmaster to permit refunds. Commissioner Julian Tackett took to social media to clarify the statement indicating neither tournament at this time has been cancelled. The KHSAA is expected to decide the fate of the tournaments and spring sports on or before April 12th.
