Ag. Commissioner says Ky. food supply remains strong

Kentucky Ag. Commissioner Ryan Quarles is reminding citizens that the commonwealth’s food supply remains strong.

He appeared on Kentucky Sports Radio Thursday morning, saying the reason some grocery stores are running out of supplies is because people are changing their shopping habits.

Walmart has altered its business hours a second time and is now open from 7 a.m. until 8:30 p.m.

Commissioner Quarles was on the program talking about efforts by his office and others to be sure students are still receiving a lunch each day while out of school due to COVID-19.
