A Hopkinsville man was arrested for assault and strangulation Tuesday afternoon after alleged incidents on Linda Drive.
An arrest citation for 19-year old Alex Deason of Hopkinsville alleges he grabbed the female victim by her throat on two occasions. He’s also accused of dragging the victim out of a vehicle and holding her down on the ground, causing injuries to her knees, elbow, side and feet.
Deason is charged with first-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault.
