New Iona basketball coach Rick Pitino says he should have been fired in 2017 from the University of Louisville. In an interview with WFAN Radio in New York, the 67-year-old Hall of Fame coach said he was innocent of any wrong doing in the college basketball bribery scandal but deserved to be terminated. Pitino added he was hungry to coach college basketball again and said Iona would be his last stop.
