Tennessee man arrested after Logan Co. hit and run

A Tennessee man was arrested on multiple charges following a hit-and-run crash Saturday afternoon in Logan County.

Logan County sheriff’s deputies and Adairville police were called to a single-vehicle rollover accident at 8596 Nashville Road and learned the driver had gotten out of the vehicle and fled on foot.

The Adairville police chief arrived and found 22-year old Denton Janoski of Kingston Springs running on a field near Kirby Road.

Deputy Ashley Grayson was on her way to assist with her emergency equipment activated when her cruiser hydroplaned and went off the road. She was taken to Logan Memorial Hospital for precautionary measures.

Janoski was located by deputies hiding in a wood line just south of Kirby Road and was arrested on charges of leaving the scene of an accident, fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment, driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.
