The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed the franchise tag on former Kentucky standout Bud Dupree. The 27-year-old linebacker is coming off his best NFL season in which he had career highs in tackles with 68 and quarterback sacks with 11 and a half. Overthecap.com reports the franchise tender is expected to be $16 million.

The Minnesota Vikings and quarterback Kirk Cousins have agreed to a two year, $66 million contract extension. Cousins had one year remaining on his three year deal he signed in 2016.

The NFL announced today the 2020 NFL Draft will still go on April 23-25 with a modified presentation. However, public events scheduled in Las Vegas have been cancelled. The league is working on a plan for the draft, but did note it would be televised.
