Churchill Downs announced over the weekend they will make a decision sometime this week about whether the Kentucky Derby will run on May 2nd. Meanwhile, both Ellis Park near Henderson and Kentucky Downs outside of Franklin have closed their facilities indefinitely due to Covid-19.
