The Pennyroyal Center in Hopkinsville is currently remaining open to the public in the face of COVID-19 and offering additional services to children who receive mental health services at schools.
According to a news release, officials are closely monitoring the situation with the coronavirus but say they will continue to provide the vital services they offer to those in need. Pennyroyal Center facilities will do their best to accommodate any child currently receiving school-based services. Individuals may call to schedule an appointment and the appointment may be conducted either in person at one of our local clinics or via telehealth, dependent upon on-site provider availability and client choice.
The center says that infectious outbreaks can understandably cause anxiety and panic in individuals, especially those already living with mental illness. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call the 24/7 RESPOND help line at (877) 473-7766.
