Churchill Downs officials issued a statement Saturday indicating a decision about the 146th Kentucky Derby next week. Churchill officials said in a news release the decision whether to run the Derby or the track’s spring meet is not one they are taking lightly. The Run for the Roses is scheduled for May 2nd.
