Kentucky’s Immanuel Quickley has received two post season awards from the Southeastern Conference. Quickley was named today to the All SEC First Team and was named SEC Player of the Year. Quickley was joined on the All SEC First Team by Nick Richards.
Tyrese Maxey named on the All SEC Second Team and the All-Freshman team.
Ashton Hagans made the SEC’s All Defensive team for the second straight year and Coach John Calipari was named SEC Coach of the Year. Kentucky opens play in the SEC Tournament at noon Friday in Nashville against Alabama or Tennessee with pregame at 10:30 am on Lite Rock 98.7 and lite987whop.com.
