Campanile takes the stage with Mama Mia this weekend

Campanile Productions will take the stage at the Alhambra Theatre this weekend to perform Mama Mia! and it starts with pay what you can night on Wednesday.

Dr. Matt Robinson and Dr. Jeffrey Riggs appeared on WHOP recently to speak on the production, with Robinson describing the premise of the show, which follows a young woman’s journey to find her father.

Riggs says the production showcases the music of the group ABBA and people might feel like dancing and singing along.

Starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday is ‘pay what you can night’, where people have a chance to get in and watch the final dress rehearsal before the showings start on Thursday.

Performances are Thursday, March 12 at 7 p.m., Friday, March 13 at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 14 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 15 at 2:30 p.m.  Tickets are $15 to $20 in advance, and will be $20 to $25 at the door.  For more information, like Campanile Productions on Facebook.
