The Tennessean reports University of Tennessee football player Brandon Davis suffered a gunshot wound over the weekend. Knoxville police say Davis was treated following a gunshot wound in the leg suffered early Saturday morning inside Uptown Bar & Grill.
Davis said he heard a gunshot and then felt a wound in his leg and had no idea who shot him or why. The sophomore defensive back from New Orleans appeared in one game last season. The investigation is continuing.
