Former Christian County standout Emmy Blane went 0-2 in Kentucky’s 6-3 loss to Texas A&M Sunday in Lexington. Kentucky is now 18-4 overall and 1-1 in the SEC. The teams close out the series this evening at 6 pm Hopkinsville time and the game can be seen on the SEC Network.
Murray State lost 5-3 to Mercer Sunday in its final game of the Mizuno Classic. Murray State is now 12-10 and returns to action Friday in its home opener against Youngstown State in the Racer Classic with first pitch at 3 pm.
Austin Peay split a pair of games Sunday in the Governors Classic defeating Purdue Fort Wayne 6-4 and losing 15-5 to UMass Lowell. The Governors are now 9-12 and host Siena University at 2 pm Wednesday.
