Barry Bonds says he feels exiled by Major League Baseball. In a story published by The Athletic Sunday, Bonds says he’s been given a “death sentence.” The 55 year old Bonds missed making the Hall of Fame again this year receiving only 61 percent of the vote.
A player must get 75 percent of the vote to be elected. He hit 762 home runs breaking Hank Aaron’s all-time record of 755. However, there has been a cloud over that as Bonds has never publically admitted to using steroids in his career. Bonds says if the Hall doesn’t want him, just tell him and be done with it. He has two more chances in the next two years to be elected to the Hall.
