For the first time this season, Murray State left a visiting park a winner after opening Ohio Valley Conference play with a 4-1 win over Austin Peay last night in Clarksville. The Racers are now 8-6 overall and 1-0 in the OVC with the Governors falling to 5-8 and 0-1 in the OVC.
Game two is this afternoon at 1 with former Caldwell County and Hoptown Hoppers pitcher Shane Burns getting the start for Murray State.
