Defending 2nd region champion Madisonville routed Henderson County 67-47 in the nightcap. The Maroons led 15-2 at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. K’suan Casey led Madisonville with 27 points as the Maroons improved to 29-3 while Henderson County got 12 points from Xavier Bugg as the Colonels wrapped up the season 19-13.
Madisonville and Christian County will meet in the first semifinal game Monday night at 6 at Hopkinsville High’s Tiger Gym.
